Many of our guests arrive in Rovaniemi with the same short wish list: drive a husky team, ride behind a reindeer, try a snowmobile. Doing each as a separate tour means three pick-ups, three sets of winter clothing and three half-days. Our combo tours were built to solve exactly that: one pick-up, one set of clothing, and two or three activities in a single day at our own wilderness area in Kuoksa.
This page is our official overview of the combo tours we run for the 2026–2027 winter season. Everything below comes from our product pages, so the prices, distances and rules are the ones you will see when you book.
In short: for winter 2026–2027 we run four combo tours from Rovaniemi. The full day is the Lapland Bucketlist Adventure with Huskies, Reindeer & Snowmobiles (from 449 €, 6 hours, with lunch and a photographer included). The three two-activity combos at Kuoksa last 5 hours each: Kuoksa Husky & Reindeer Adventure (from 349 €), Kuoksa Husky & Snowmobile Adventure (from 299 €) and Kuoksa Reindeer & Snowmobile Adventure (from 249 €). All four include pick-up within 10 km of Rovaniemi city centre, winter clothing and a salmon soup meal in a teepee.

The four combos at a glance
All four tours take place in the Kuoksa area, where our family runs Kuoksa Wilderness Park – a private destination rather than a crowded one. What changes between the tours is which activities you combine:
- Lapland Bucketlist Adventure – about 1 hour of snowmobiling, a 5 km self-driven husky ride and a 2–3 km reindeer sleigh ride, plus lunch and a photographer. From 449 €, 6 hours, difficulty moderate.
- Kuoksa Husky & Reindeer Adventure – a 5 km self-driven husky ride and a 2–3 km reindeer sleigh ride. From 349 €, 5 hours, difficulty easy.
- Kuoksa Husky & Snowmobile Adventure – about 1 hour of snowmobiling and a 5 km self-driven husky ride. From 299 €, 5 hours, difficulty easy.
- Kuoksa Reindeer & Snowmobile Adventure – a 2–3 km reindeer sleigh ride and about 1 hour of snowmobiling. From 249 €, 5 hours, difficulty easy.

How the full Bucketlist day runs
The Bucketlist Adventure is the one that has everything. According to the tour description, the day begins with approximately one hour of snowmobiling across frozen lakes and snow-covered forest. Next comes the 5 km husky sled ride, where you drive your own team after detailed instructions on how to mush safely.
After the huskies the pace slows down for the 2–3 km reindeer sleigh ride, a quiet stretch through the forest where you also hear about reindeer herding and life on a reindeer farm. The activities end in a teepee or kota with our Flames & Fish open-fire salmon soup lunch, drinks included.
Two things set this tour apart from the other combos: a photographer comes along and you receive the photos, and the group is kept small, with a maximum of 16 participants.
The three Kuoksa combos, step by step
Husky & Reindeer. The day starts with the 5 km self-driven husky ride on snowy trails, followed by the 2–3 km reindeer sleigh ride through the wilderness. You then warm up in a teepee with open-fire salmon soup and drinks, and learn about reindeer herding and farm life.
Husky & Snowmobile. This one opens with a one-hour snowmobile safari over snowy trails, frozen lakes and forest paths. After a salmon soup break with bread and hot drinks, the huskies pull you on a 5 km ride through the Kuoksajärvi forest.
Reindeer & Snowmobile. Here the order is reversed: a 2–3 km reindeer sleigh ride through the Kuoksajärvi forests with a reindeer handler, then salmon soup, bread and hot drinks by the fire, and finally the one-hour snowmobile safari.
On the combos without a photographer, photos are taken with your own device.
What is included – and what is not
Across all four combos the product pages list the same core services:
- Pick-up and drop-off within a 10 km radius of Rovaniemi city centre, in an air-conditioned vehicle
- Winter clothing in adult and child sizes: overalls, boots and gloves (socks are also listed for the Husky & Reindeer and the Reindeer & Snowmobile tours)
- A guide in English – other languages can be requested, with limited availability; send us an email or WhatsApp after booking
- Food and drinks in a teepee – open-fire salmon soup
- On snowmobile combos: the snowmobile, helmet, balaclava and safety instructions
What is not included: the snowmobile self-liability waiver is an optional extra (see the small print below), and on the three Kuoksa combos there is no photographer – bring your phone or camera. Pick-up further than 10 km from the city centre is not part of the price; ask us if you are staying outside that radius.

Who each combo suits
Our honest guidance, based on what the tours contain:
- Choose the Bucketlist Adventure if you have one day and want all three activities, lunch and photos you do not have to take yourself. It is the longest day (6 hours) and is rated moderate.
- Choose Husky & Reindeer if animals are the point of your trip and you would rather not drive a snowmobile – for example if no one in your group holds a driving licence.
- Choose Husky & Snowmobile if you want the two most active experiences.
- Choose Reindeer & Snowmobile if you want a calm reindeer ride plus some speed, at the lowest combo price.
None of the combos is suitable for children under 3, and none is wheelchair or stroller accessible. If that rules a combo out for your group, one of our reindeer activities or single tours may work better – ask us and we will suggest one.
The small print, quoted from the product pages
- To drive a snowmobile you need a driving licence and must be 18 or older. Passengers do not need a licence.
- Twin drive means two people per snowmobile; book one ticket per person.
- Children 140 cm or taller can sit on the snowmobile at the adult price; shorter children ride in the sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.
- Maximum self-liability for the snowmobile is 900 €. A waiver costs 25 € online or on the spot, lowering the self-liability to 250 €.
- In bad weather the husky ride can be arranged as a shortened, guide-driven experience; if conditions do not allow a reindeer sleigh ride, it becomes a reindeer walk.
- At least 2 people are needed on weekdays and Saturdays, and at least 4 on Sundays and public holidays.
- Children under 13 must be accompanied by adults paying the full price, and infants must not sit on laps.
- Please wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before your pick-up time.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity; after that the fee is 100%.
The Husky & Snowmobile page also states a temperature limit of −35 °C, and −25 °C for small children.
Booking windows and the EARLY27 code
The combos have different booking cut-offs: 4 hours before start for the Bucketlist Adventure, 8 hours for Reindeer & Snowmobile, 12 hours for Husky & Snowmobile and 1 day for Husky & Reindeer. Booking earlier simply gives you more choice of dates.
You may have seen our EARLY27 book-early code. As the site banner says, it excludes husky and reindeer tours – and because every combo includes huskies or reindeer, the code does not apply to them. If a departure looks closed or you are a larger group, contact us and we will try to arrange one.
Combining a combo with your stay
Pick-up is available from our own Postmaster Hotel in the city centre and from Aurora Hill Resort, as well as from many other hotels in Rovaniemi. The combos are daytime tours, so if you also hope to see the Northern Lights, you can book one of our Northern Lights tours for another evening. If you would like to learn more about the reindeer you will meet, our post on the reindeer round-up explains how herding works through the year.
