Your experience begins at Ounaspaviljonki, where the Ounasjoki and Kemijoki rivers meet. After a complete safety briefing and on-water practice, you will set off downstream on your own Sea-Doo, following a professional local guide.

The route takes you beneath the iconic Jätkänkynttilä bridge, past the Rovaniemi skyline and alongside Kotisaari island. Once used as a base by the region’s log-floaters, the island offers a glimpse into the river’s important role in Lapland’s lumberjack history.

As the river opens up, you will have more time and space to increase your speed and experience the full power of the jet ski on a safe stretch of open water.

The tour includes a stop on a sandy riverbank for a drink, photographs and a moment to enjoy the surrounding scenery. During the break, your guide will share stories about the Kemijoki’s log-floating era, local lumberjack culture and the Valajaskoski dam.

After the stop, enjoy a more relaxed cruise back towards the river junction and Ounaspaviljonki.
