You must be 18 years or older to drive a snowmobile
Maximum self-liability with the snowmobile is 900 €. You can buy waiver for 25 € online or on the spot, then the self-liability is 250 €
When booking a Twin drive snowmobile (driver + 1 passenger), include 2 participants in your booking per snowmobile
If the child is 140 cm or taller, they can be seated on the snowmobile paying the adult’s price
If the child is shorter than 140 cm, they must be seated in the sled pulled by the snowmobile, which is driven by our guide
Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time

Is there a guarantee that we will see the Northern Lights?
Since the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee a 100% sighting, as it depends on weather and solar activity. However, we will do our best to offer you the best experience!
What time does the tour start and how long does it last?
The activity starts at 19:00, the duration is 4 hours. You will be back to Rovaniemi city center at 23:00. Please note that transfer to pick-up/ drop-off location is outside of activity duration time. We recommend reserve 15-30 minutes before and after activity.
Do I need a driver’s license to participate?
Yes, to drive the snowmobile you have to have a valid driving license. If you want to be only passenger then the driving lisence is not necessary.
Do I need prior snowmobile driving experience?
No need to have prior experience driving the snowmobile. Our guides will provide instructions before the tour starts.
How long and far do we drive on snowmobiles?
The snowmobile ride lasts for approximately 1-1,5 hours, covering several kilometers into the Arctic wilderness, away from city lights for the best Northern Lights viewing experience.
Can children join the tour as passengers?
Children can join the tour as passengers, but there are some important safety guidelines:
Younger children (under 140 cm): They will travel in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.
Minimum height requirement: Children must be at least 140 cm tall to ride as a passenger on the snowmobile.
How far do we travel from the city for the tour?
We will take you to “Kuoksa Wilderness Park” that is located on our private land away from city lights. The trip takes 30 minutes to reach the activity location. Our land is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Finnish wildness.
Can children join? Is there an age limit?
The recommended minimum age for participation is 3 years old, as winter conditions can be too harsh for infants.
There are no maximum age limits—everyone is welcome! However, certain activities may have health restrictions. Please check the specific tour details or contact us for more information.
