What is the best time of year to see the Northern Lights in Lapland?
Northern lights are visible in Lapland for a period of over 8 months, from early August until late April.
Is there a guarantee that we will see the Northern Lights?
Since the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee a 100% sighting, as it depends on weather and solar activity. However, we will do our best to offer you the best experience!
What time does the tour start and how long does it last?
The activity starts at 20:00, the duration is 3 hours. You will be back to Rovaniemi city center at 23:00. Please note that transfer to pick-up/ drop-off location is outside of activity duration time. We recommend reserve 15-30 minutes before and after activity.
How far do we travel from the city for the tour?
We will take you to “Kuoksa Wilderness Park” that is located on our private land away from city lights. The trip takes 30 minutes to reach the activity location. Our land is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Finnish wildness.
Is hotel pick-up and drop-off included?

Do you provide warm clothing for the Northern Lights tours?
Yes, we provide warm clothing for all our activities, including overalls, woolen socks, gloves, hats, and warm shoes to ensure your comfort in the Arctic conditions. Our clothes are available in all of the sizes!
Can children join the Northern Lights Tour At The Campfire? Is there an age limit?
The recommended minimum age for participation is 3 years old, as winter conditions can be too harsh for infants. For Northern Lights activities, we highly recommend the Northern Lights in Atmospheric Cottage option, as it provides a warm indoor space for children to stay comfortable.
There are no maximum age limits – everyone is welcome! However, please note that this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users, and certain activities may have health restrictions. For any specific concerns, feel free to contact us.
