When guests ask us which room to book at the Postmaster Hotel, they usually want to know one thing: what do I actually get for the price? This post answers that for our smallest suite, the Superior Twin Suite, using exactly what is listed on the room page — no more, no less.
The Postmaster Hotel is our family’s hotel in the centre of Rovaniemi, at Postikatu 1, next to the railway and bus station. The Superior Twin Suite is the room we think of as the practical choice: compact, fully equipped, and a comfortable base for days spent outdoors in Lapland.
In short: the Superior Twin Suite is a 25 m² room for 1–3 guests with two beds plus an extra bed, a private bathroom with shower and WC, and a kitchenette. Breakfast, free parking and Wi-Fi are included, pets are welcome for a pet fee of 30 € per stay, and prices start from 115 €. Your exact rate for your dates is shown when you book.

It is the smallest of our four room types at the Postmaster Hotel. The Deluxe Suite, Deluxe Sauna Suite and Family Suite are all 35 m².
Sleeping: twin beds and room for a third guest
The suite is set up with twin beds dressed in premium linens, which makes it a natural fit for friends or colleagues travelling together, or for a couple who simply sleep better with their own bed. The room is designed for two guests, and a third can be accommodated on the extra bed — the amenities list also mentions a sofa bed, and extra pillows and blankets are available.

The kitchenette: what is in it
This is the part guests are often surprised by. The Superior Twin Suite has its own kitchenette, and the room page lists the following equipment:
- Stove and stovetop
- Microwave
- Refrigerator
- Coffee maker and electric kettle
- Pans and pots
- Dishes and cutlery
For a longer stay this makes a real difference: you can make a warm drink before an early pick-up, keep snacks in the fridge, or cook a simple dinner after a long day outside instead of going out again into the cold.
Bathroom and everyday comforts
The private bathroom has a shower and WC, with sustainable toiletries. Towels, shampoo, body soap and a hair dryer are provided. The room also has underfloor heating, heating, hot water and bed linen, plus the everyday things that matter on a trip:

- A TV
- A practical desk, if you need to work for an hour or two
- Cleaning equipment
For peace of mind, the room is fitted with a smoke alarm and a carbon monoxide alarm. The interior follows the rest of the hotel: minimalist Nordic design with warm, cosy textures.

Breakfast at Leima Kitchen & Bar is included
Breakfast is always included for our in-house guests and is served downstairs at Leima Kitchen & Bar, every day from 6:30 to 9:30. The buffet uses local and Finnish ingredients: warm porridge with berry compote, sourdough and whole-grain breads, Finnish cheeses, eggs, yoghurt and granola, homemade lingonberry and strawberry jams, coffee, tea and fresh juice. Location: next to the railway and bus station
The Postmaster Hotel is at Postikatu 1 in the heart of Rovaniemi, right next to the railway and bus station. If you arrive by night train or by bus, you are only a short walk from your room. Free parking is included in the room rate if you arrive by car.

Combining your stay with our tours
The Postmaster Hotel is a pick-up point for our tours, and Postikatu 1 is the meeting point listed on many of our activities. On tours such as our Northern Lights Tour at the Campfire, pick-up from the hotel is included, and we only ask that you wait in the lobby 10 minutes before your pick-up time. Book this suite if… / choose another room if…
Book the Superior Twin Suite if you are one to three travellers who want separate beds, a kitchenette, breakfast included and a central location, and you plan to spend most of the day outdoors.
Choose another of our rooms if you want more space (the Deluxe Suite is 35 m² with city views), your own private sauna (the Deluxe Sauna Suite), or you are travelling as a family of up to five (the Family Suite has four beds plus an extra bed). All four are listed on the Postmaster Hotel page.
