This is a fully private Northern Lights hunting tour, meaning there are no other guests in the vehicle. You will travel with your own professional guide, allowing the evening to be planned around your group, your comfort and the changing weather conditions.

This is not a fixed-location campfire tour. Before departure, your guide carefully studies cloud forecasts, weather conditions and aurora activity to determine the most promising direction for the night. The goal is simple: to leave the city lights behind, find clearer skies and give you the strongest possible chance of experiencing the Northern Lights.

With no fixed time or distance limits, we are prepared to travel as far as necessary when conditions require it. Some nights, clear skies may be found close to Rovaniemi, while on others, the hunt may take us deeper into the peaceful Arctic landscapes or even farther across the region. The route is different every evening and always based on the latest conditions.

You will travel comfortably in a premium minivan, such as a Ford Tourneo or similar, with space for up to eight guests.

Your guide will lead the aurora hunt, explain the conditions in the Arctic sky and help you understand why each location is selected. When the Northern Lights appear, professional photography is included, allowing you to focus on the experience while we capture memorable photos of you beneath the auroras.

During the evening, we may stop in a peaceful natural setting to enjoy warm drinks, beverages and traditional sausages prepared over an open fire. The main focus, however, always remains on finding clear skies and successfully hunting the Northern Lights.

Free cancellation 7 days before the activity. We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event.
